The Board of Education today issued the following statement regarding its search for an interim superintendent:
“The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County is continuing to progress towards selecting an interim superintendent. The Board of Education has received letters of interest from both internal and external candidates interested in the position.
Currently, the Board of Education is diligently reviewing the letters of interest and is actively trying to narrow the field of interested candidates. The Board still intends to meet its goal of choosing an interim superintendent by August 1.”
