The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County will discuss and is scheduled to vote on the schematic design of the new Old Mill Middle School South facility at its next meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, December 2, 2020.
The facility is slated to be built on the current Southgate Park in Millersville. If funded as currently scheduled, it would open in the fall of 2024.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and associated restrictions, Wednesday’s meeting will be held virtually. It will begin at 6 p.m.
At Wednesday’s meeting, the Board is also scheduled to discuss a family survey concerning the 2021-2022 School Year Calendar.
The meeting will be the final one for four outgoing Board members whose terms are expiring: District 32 member Terry Gilleland, District 33 member Eric Grannon, District 30 member Robert C. Leib, and At-Large member Julie Hummer.
