The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County tonight unanimously approved a one-year agreement with the Teacher’s Association of Anne Arundel County (TAAAC) that includes a mid-year step increase for all eligible bargaining unit employees and a mid-year catchup step increase for eligible employees who missed a step increase in Fiscal Year 2012.
The agreement, which expires on June 30, 2021, was approved by TAAAC members last week. TAAAC represents teachers, school counselors, and other similar employees.
The Board now has ratified agreements with all four of its four employee bargaining units. Agreements with the Association of Educational Leaders; the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, Local 1693; and the Secretaries and Assistants Association of Anne Arundel County were approved in June.
