ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS, WESTFIELD ANNAPOLIS TEAM UP TO SHOWCASE ALL-COUNTY STUDENT ARTWORK

Anyone looking to see tremendous artistic talent can find it at Westfield Annapolis through next week, as the Anne Arundel County Public Schools Visual Arts Office and Westfield Annapolis partner to present the achievements from emerging student artists from across the school system.

2016 Mall Art Show.Post Card-page-001The 2016 All-County Student Art Exhibit highlights the tremendous abilities and talents of over 3,000 students. The artwork on display includes drawings, paintings, mixed media, and photography.

The exhibit runs through May 11, 2016. Artwork from high school and middle school students is displayed in the corridor between Macy’s and Crate & Barrel. Artwork from elementary students is displayed between Lord & Taylor and Pottery Barn.

Student artists will be honored during an open house hosted by Westfield Annapolis from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2016. Parents, teachers, family, and friends of the student artists are invited to gather in front of Crate & Barrel at 6:15 p.m. Schools Superintendent George Arlotto will be among those on hand to celebrate with the artists.
