Parents and children who have questions about educational issues can get answers directly from the Board of Education later this month.
Board President Stacy Korbelak, and Board Members Debbie Ritchie, Teresa Milio Birge, and Ayesha Chaudhry are scheduled to be at the Waugh Chapel community center from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15, to talk with anyone interested in school system issues.
This will be the first outreach event hosted by the Board during the current school year. Five such events were held last year to enable county residents to better communicate with Board members.
The community center is located at 1326 Main Chapel Way in the Village at Waugh Chapel Shopping Center in Gambrills. Questions will be addressed on a first-come, first-served basis.
