The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County today elected Robert Silkworth as president and Corine Frank as vice president for the coming year.
Silkworth was elected to represent Councilmanic District 2 on the Board in November 2020 and began his four-year term the following month. He has served as the Board’s vice president for the last two years.
Frank was elected to represent District 3 on the Board in November 2020 and began a four-year term in December 2020.
They will serve one-year terms in their respective capacities as Board officers.
The Board is comprised of seven elected adult members and one student member. Also serving on the Board are Gloria D. Dent (District 1), Melissa Ellis (District 4), Dana Schallheim (District 5), Dr. Joanna Tobin (District 6), Michelle Corkadel (District 7), and Student Member Eric Lin of Severna Park High School.
