Board of Education President Dr. Joanna Tobin and Superintendent of Schools Dr. Mark Bedell today released the following statement regarding last weekend’s events in Israel:
“All of us at Anne Arundel County Public Schools stand united with the citizens of Israel in the wake of the horrific events of this past weekend. Our hearts are with the families of those who perished as well as with the countless people in Israel and around the world, including in our own community, whose lives have been impacted by this tragedy. Across our schools, we must – and will – continue our efforts to be inclusive and uplifting, and to support all who are struggling to cope with these events or any other difficult situations in their lives.”
