MEADE CLUSTER SCHOOLS TO HOLD COMMUNITY CELEBRATION

Students from the 13 schools that are part of the Meade cluster will share talents such as dance, chorus, band, art and more during a community celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 12.

The event will be held at Meade Middle School, located at 1103 26th St., on Fort George G. Meade. It will feature fun activities, community resource information, approximately 40 vendors, food, and opportunities to learn about the various programs offered in schools. Representatives from Fort Meade and the Friends of Meade action group will also be on hand to discuss ways in which they are working to create and enhance partnerships with AACPS schools.

Parking will be available at Meade Middle School.  Families may also choose to use the Bus Shuttle at no cost at the following schools: Maryland City Elementary, Brock Bridge Elementary, Jessup Elementary, Van Bokkelen Elementary, Hebron-Harmon Elementary, and Seven Oaks Elementary. The buses will run continuously from the elementary schools to Meade Middle school and back. The first pick up will be at 10 a.m., with the last departure from Meade Middle School being at 2 p.m.
