The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Edgewater Elementary School has been rescheduled for 5 p.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.
The event, originally scheduled for September 2, was postponed due to damage in the community caused by a tornado the previous day.
The $50 million facility encompasses more than 89,600 square feet and is home to more than more than 530 students and staff.
The event will take place just prior to the school’s Back To School Night and will be broadcast live on AACPS’ YouTube channel.
