Gloria Dent, the newest member of the Board of Education of Anne Arundel County, will take her oath of office and assume her duties in a brief ceremony later this week.
Clerk of the Circuit Court Scott Poyer will preside over the swearing-in, which will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 23, 2021, in the Board Room of the Parham Building, located at 2644 Riva Road in Annapolis.
