The Board of Education today approved changes to the negotiated agreement with the Association of Educational Leaders (AEL), the bargaining unit which represents principals and assistant principals.
The agreement with AEL provides for a full step increase for all eligible employees and a 2 percent cost-of-living adjustment for all AEL employees.
The agreement, which expires on June 30, 2019, was approved by AEL members on May 29. It is contingent on adequate funding being appropriated by the County in the FY2019 budget.
