The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County will continue the school system’s work on a new Strategic Plan as part of a retreat scheduled for Saturday, August 19.
School system staff members have been working throughout the year to craft a new Strategic Plan, which will guide the school system’s work over the next five years. Input from focus groups, the Board, and the public have helped to further shape the plan. A formal proposal will be made to the Board later this year.
Also at the retreat, the Board will review the results of a study of the Division of Human Resources.
The retreat will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at West Annapolis Elementary School, located at 505 Melvin Annapolis in Annapolis. It is open to the public, but no public comment will be taken.
