HIGH SCHOOL EXAMS SET FOR JUNE 13-16; ALL SCHOOLS DISMISS TWO HOURS EARLY

Superintendent George Arlotto today reminded parents of all Anne Arundel County Public Schools students that high school semester exams will be administered from June 13 through 16, and that all schools will dismiss two hours early on these days.

High school exams will be administered according to the following schedule:

  • Monday, June 13: A Day, periods 1 and 2
  • Tuesday, June 14: B Day, periods 1 and 2
  • Wednesday, June 15: A Day, periods 3 and 4
  • Thursday, June 16: B Day, periods 3 and 4

In the unlikely event that inclement weather forces a closing of schools on any of the testing days, the last day of school (and last day of exams) would move to Friday, June 17. If inclement weather forces a two-hour delayed opening, schools would open two hours late and dismiss at their normal time.

There will be no classes at the Centers of Applied Technology or for students in prekindergarten and ECI programs from June 13 through 16. The last day of class for those programs is Friday, June 10.
