PARENTS REMINDED OF SCHEDULE ALTERATIONS FOR LAST FEW DAYS OF SCHOOL YEAR

Superintendent George Arlotto today reminded parents of students across the county of the following information regarding schedules for the final days of the school year:

  • High School exams will be administered from June 15-18, except for Glen Burnie High School, which is closing one day early and will administer exams from June 12-17.
  • The following exam schedule will be in place for all high schools except Glen Burnie:
    • Monday, June 15: Periods 1A and 2A
    • Tuesday, June 16: Periods 1B and 2B
    • Wednesday, June 17: Periods 3A and 4A
    • Thursday, June 18: Periods 3B and 4B
  • The following exam schedule will be in place for Glen Burnie High School only:
    • Friday, June 12: Periods 1B and 2B
    • Monday, June 15: Periods 1A and 2A
    • Tuesday, June 16: Periods 3B and 4B
    • Wednesday, June 17: Periods 3A and 4A
  • Second semester exams at the Centers of Applied Technology will be administered on Friday, June 12 (Monday, June 8, through Thursday, June 11, for Glen Burnie High School students, depending on their instructional program).
  • All schools will dismiss two hours early from June 15-18, with Glen Burnie High School only dismissing two hours early on Friday, June 12.
  • The last day for half-day prekindergarten and ECI students is Friday, June 12. (The last day for full-day prekindergarten students is Thursday, June 18).
  • In addition to Glen Burnie High School, the following schools will close one day early, on Wednesday, June 17, due to upcoming construction projects or moves: Crofton, Lothian, and Mills-Parole elementary schools; Magothy River and Southern middle schools; the J. Albert Adams Academy; and the Mary Moss Academy.
