November 22, 2014 — The School Board Nominating Commission of Anne Arundel County is now accepting applications to fill two vacancies for the Anne Arundel County Board of Education one representing an At Large seat (Pruski vacancy) and the other representing District 33 (Brandenburg vacancy).
School Board Candidate applications to fill these two vacancies will be accepted by the Commission until close of business on Tuesday, January 6, 2015, by mail or email. Applications and detailed timeline information can be found at the commission’s website http://www.aacps.org/sbnc/sbnc.asp. Candidates will also need to complete a financial disclosure form and be prepared to appear before the Commission at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13, in the Board Room at the Dr. Carol Sheffey Parham Building, located at 2644 Riva Road in Annapolis. A second meeting of the Commission will occur on Thursday, January 15, at the same location. The Commission receive public testimony as well as hold a deliberation and voting session at the second meeting.
