Parents and children who have questions about educational issues can get answers directly from the Board of Education at an event later this month.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2014, at the McGill Training Center on Fort Meade. Board President Teresa Milio Birge and Board Member Andrew Pruski will be on hand for all or part of the session to answer questions on a first-come, first-served basis.
This will be the fourth outreach event hosted by the Board during the current school year. Similar events were held earlier this year at the Linthicum, Maryland City, and Edgewater libraries. Events were held last year at Arundel Mills and Westfield Annapolis malls, and on Fort Meade.
The center is located at 8452 Zimborski Ave. on the post. Visitors should use the Reece Road gate and be sure to have a photo identification and proof of vehicle insurance.
