WINNERS OF COUNTYWIDE YOUNG AUTHORS CONTEST ANNOUNCED

The Anne Arundel County Reading Council has announced the most recent winners of its annual Young Authors Contest. More than 1,000 entries were received in the short story/essay and poem categories, and students who finished first or second will now have their works judged at the state level.

The high school winners will be honored at a reception on February 21. Winners at the elementary and middle school levels will be honored in April.
