Anne Arundel County Public Schools depends on community and business partners to ensure our students have opportunities to explore their personal interests, engage in unique learning experiences, and interact with professionals from a variety of career fields. Through the Business & Community Partner of the Year Awards, AACPS and the Education Foundation of AACPS recognize community organizations and businesses that have forged critical partnerships with programs and schools that directly benefit students.

Interested in nominating a partner organization or business who a made a difference at your school? Consider nominating them by completing the application below:

Deadline:  August 25, 2023   

 

Requirements:

The Education Foundation of AACPS is accepting applications in three categories:

  • Business Partner with over 50 employees
  • Business Partner with less than 50 employees
  • Service Organization/Small Non-Profit
: NOMINATION PROCESS
1. School-Based Nominations may be submitted by any school employee. If school-based, it must be approved by your school’s principal. The nomination must include a written recommendation and only one nomination from each school will be accepted.

2. Central/Satellite Office Nominations may also be submitted. The application must include a written recommendation and be approved your authorized manager from your office/department. Only one nomination from each office/department will be accepted.

3. A selection committee of educators and community leaders read and evaluate each nomination packet to select the winners in each category.

4. The Education Foundation of AACPS will recognize all Business & Community Partner of the Year honorees on November 14, 2023 at the Partners in Education Awards Reception at Live! Arundel Mills.
