Westfield Annapolis Hosts Cars & Coffee to Help AACPS Students Get Ready for School

August 15th, 2023|Community Partnerships, Our AACPS Stories, Our Community, What's New|

Starting early on a warm, summer Sunday August morning, you could hear the faint hum of car engines in the distance.

Anticipation was growing from the question of, “what kind of cars will we see today?!” When the cars began to arrive, it was such a beautiful sight.

From the way the cars sparkled in the early morning sun, to the sweet hint of freshly brewed coffee floating in the air, you knew that the day was going to be special.

The variety of cars on display was something to marvel at. There were Corvettes, Porsches, Mustangs, Jaguars, “American Muscle” cars, and foreign luxury gems on display. Westfield Annapolis put the word out to the community that they would be supporting AACPS by hosting a school supply donation drive and the community responded by filling a large crate with school supplies that will help students on their path to achieve greatness.

Ms. Morgan McCloud, Westfield Annapolis’ Marketing Director, was excited about the opportunity to partner with AACPS and she was pleased with the turn out of community support. In planning the event, Ms. McCloud made sure there were activities for individuals of all ages to enjoy at the event to include face painting, balloon art, food trucks, a dj playing lively music, and performances by a local […]
