Students are being recognized for their academic achievements at Annapolis Middle School
Annapolis Middle School recently welcomed almost 60 new members into the National Junior Honor Society. The induction ceremony, which took place on Wednesday, March 29, recognized students in grades 6-8 who have excelled academically and demonstrated strong character, leadership, and citizenship.
To be inducted into the National Junior Honor Society, students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.5 and uphold the society’s five core values of scholarship, character, service, leadership, and citizenship. These students have worked hard both inside and outside of the classroom to earn this prestigious honor.
The scholars are led by co-advisors Mr. Alex Tougas, Language & Literature Teacher, and Ms. Natasha Ogundare, School Counseling Department Chair. Their guidance and support have been instrumental in helping these students achieve their goals and become leaders in their school and community.
The induction ceremony was a proud moment for both the students and their families. It’s a testament to their hard work and dedication to their academic and personal growth. Congratulations to all the new members of the National Junior Honor Society at Annapolis Middle School!
