Ravens Roost #137 with North Glen Community Church

Recognized for their support of AACPS by North Glen Elementary School
Ravens Roost #137 Booster Club, in partnership with the North Glen Community Church, has been a valuable asset to the school community. They have been more than gracious and generous with their time and finances in support of North Glen Elementary School. Not only do they represent the Baltimore Ravens fan base well as true partners in the community, they are consistently innovative with their fundraisers.
For the past two years, Raves Roost has filled backpacks with school supplies to make sure our students start the school year off with the tools they need to succeed. North Glen Community Church also supports the Backpack Buddies program, filling bags with snacks for some of our student to take home over the weekend. There have been many other areas of support. These partners also host a number of fundraisers for North Glen Elementary School school. They’ve done “Breakfast with Santa”, a “Valentine’s Dance”, and a “Happy Hour” all in support of North Glen Elementary School students.
Most recently, however, the Ravens Roost donated $1,400.00 to North Glen Elementary School for the purchase of Chromebook computers for North Glen Elementary School kindergarten and first grade students. Technology is critical to instructional and preparing North Glen Elementary School students to compete in the 21st century and the Ravens Roost #137 helps to make it possible for us to do so.
