Lauren Walker, an AACPS Music Teacher who is a semi-finalist for 2020 AACPS Teacher of the Year, worked with both of my girls at Southern Middle School. She inspired them to do their best and to continue with music. She also worked with both girls outside of school at the Annapolis Children’s Choir as their director. Both my daughters are in college now for music, and our family was blessed with strong music teachers in their lives who inspired and guided them.
