A story of appreciation for Mrs. Sarah Ward from:
The Howell Family: Ridgeway Elementary School
This year has been amazing for our daughter and our family in Mrs. Ward’s class. Our daughter has thrived in her reading and comprehension because she is challenged to do her best. The classroom environment is colorful and positive allowing for students to feel at ease and supported. I recently volunteered on a field trip and at a county-wide event hosted by Ridgeway and I felt so proud of the students and the staff. Mrs. Wards entire class made posters to support their four student peers who participated in the Special Olympics program, Run, Jump, Throw! The importance of accepting all students and treating each other with kindness is displayed by Mrs. Ward and is therefore displayed by her students. I am thankful that our daughter has Mrs. Ward as a teacher this school year. Thank you, Mrs. Ward for being such a special person in our daughters life this year in second grade. The lessons that you have taught her will be lifelong lessons.
Ms. Ward’s class supports their peers in Ridgeway’s annual Special Olympics Run, Jump, & Throw Festival.
