I’ve Never Found a Better School

I am an AACPS: Lunch/Recess Monitor | Parent, Park Elementary School

When my son moved to Park Elementary School in second grade, he was below his grade reading level. Now, he’s in third grade and he has grown to a fifth grade reading level! He just succeeds at everything he does here and I know it’s because these care about these kids.

I volunteered with all my kids and at Park I was welcomed in with open arms. There’s not a single staff member that you can’t talk to who won’t help you if you need it and Ms. Blondell is like the mother I wish I had. She loves her kids and whatever the situation is, she is right on top of it.

If I had my way, this school would go from PreK-12^th grade so my son would never have to leave. I’ve never seen him so happy at school. At his last school, he would try everything to get out of going to school. Now, he cries if he can’t go to school! I’ve never found a better school and don’t think anyone can get a better experience than at Park Elementary.
