The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County tonight unanimously approved an agreement with the Secretaries and Assistants Association of Anne Arundel County (SAAAAC) that includes a salary increase for all bargaining unit employees and a mid-year step increase for eligible employees.
Under the agreement, which was ratified by the bargaining unit earlier this week, all SAAAAC members will receive a 3.454 percent cost-of-living increase, retroactive to July 1, 2018. All members eligible for step increases will receive one at the mid-year point of their work year.
The Board has now approved Fiscal year 2019 negotiated agreements with all four of its employee bargaining units.
In addition, the Board tonight approved a 1.5 percent mid-year cost-of-living increase for all non-represented employees.
