Feeling Valued at Hilltop

I am an AACPS: Math Resource Teacher, Hilltop Elementary School

As a Title I Math Resource Teacher I work with teams of teachers to plan and implement the district math curriculum and review assessment data to drive future instruction.  I also work with small groups of learners that are in need of extra support in mathematics. As an eCoach I work with teachers to choose engaging instructional technology resources that will enhance teaching and learning of the curriculum.  I also work to ensure all resources can be easily accessed by teachers and students on our iPads and Chromebooks. I have been at Hilltop for 13 years now and I feel the students are the most special. Every day is a brand-new day and every day brings new challenges.  The students need us, and we need them.

I really feel valued here by my administration, teachers, and students.  It’s a place I like to come to everyday. It’s also a place I feel like we can voice our ideas freely.  Everybody works together to do what’s best for our student and families. I’ve been here for a while and I don’t really plan on going anywhere.
