SCHOOL HOURS INFORMATIONAL SESSIONS NOW ONLINE; CHILD CARE FAIR SET FOR JUNE 21

Links to videos providing school- and cluster-specific information on the changes in school hours for the 2022-23 school year as well as a place for members of the public to ask questions about the shift are now available on the school system’s website at www.aacps.org/2223schoolhours.

The videos are intended to provide families, students, and employees with  basic overviews of the shift to healthier school hours for all students in the coming year as well as specific information about some of the issues – such as transportation, child care, and crossing guards – families and employees may need to address. They are categorized by Board member district, with each district covering clusters that draw students from that district. There are also separate sessions covering specialty sites and magnet programs.

Families that still have questions after viewing the videos can submit them through a portal that is now also online. Questions will receive replies from AACPS staff. Frequent questions and the answers to them will be posted online so that others may benefit.
