During this week-long event, teachers and community volunteers who work in the STEM field collaborate to introduce students to a wide variety of STEM topics and activities. The week started with a school wide assembly on internet safety, developed by ISC2, the International Information System Security Certification Consortium. During the week, each class participated in grade-appropriate lessons, on topics ranging from \u201cAll About Weather\u201d to \u201cBrain Science\u201d to \u201cSorting Algorithms.\u201d Families were pulled into the learning fun for a well-attended mid-week \u201cMath Fun Night\u201d, featuring stations with hands-on STEM activities and games. \u00a0Feedback from students, parents, teachers and staff was extremely positive and volunteers were excited that the students so eagerly participated in all activities.
