In middle school I was influenced to participate in certain activities that I am not proud of such as throwing rocks at houses, Ding dong ditch, etc. Then going into my freshman year of high school I wasn\u2019t as focused as I should\u2019ve been which is why my grades weren\u2019t on the level that they should\u2019ve been.<\/p>\n<p>I started to get focused and motivated in\u00a0my junior year at Meade Senior High School once I heard about our\u00a0school&#8217;s Homeland Security Signature program and the opportunities that came with it. This program allowed me to focus on surrounding myself with people that are driven and focused while partaking in activities that are responsible and beneficial for my future. During the progression of my junior year, I learned about so many opportunities and career paths that I could focus on in the future. This made me more open-minded and motivated to become a more responsible and principled individual.<\/p>\n<p>Now I have a plan for my future to attend a four year university majoring in cyber security and criminal justice while joining the Army Reserve, then join the Army as a officer after college while working in the intelligence\/security field. Once I get out of the military, I plan to go into the secret service or any other government position to pursue the intelligence\/security field.
