I am an AACPS:<\/strong> Alum, Chesapeake Senior High School, 2017<\/p>\n My AVID teacher at Chesapeake High School was the same teacher I had for all four years. Mrs. Tami Beyer is most definitely one of the reasons I am where I am today. Through tough decisions to take advanced classes, to struggling through a rough week, all the way to college decisions, Mrs. Beyer supported me every step of the way. I always felt like her classroom was a place where I could get anything I needed whether it was a push forward or a shoulder to cry on. College decisions were a challenging time for me and I don’t know that I would have ended up where I am today if Mrs. Beyer hadn’t have pushed me to reach for my dreams.
