“Dear Ms. Snyder,

We want to share how thankful we are for everything you’ve done for Elinor this year. We weren’t sure at the beginning of the year how she would do with the transition to Kindergarten, but we’ve seen her grow and blossom into a little girl who really loves school and is thriving. She has learned so much this year and we are so grateful that you’ve been there to guide her! We truly can’t thank you enough, and SES is so very lucky to have you!”

“Thank you so much for a wonderful year of teaching our 5th grader. 5th is a tough year as the children prepare for middle school and we appreciate you beyond words. You rock. I know our child will remember her 5th grade year and a big part of that will be remembering you in the years to come. Thank you for all you do!”

“Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to one of the most influential, amazing go above and beyond teachers I know. Ms. Sellman has touched so many of her students’ lives. She has been so dedicated to not only her students but to her community. Ms.Sellman ensures that all of her students believe in themselves and that they are receiving top tier education. She makes sure that before her students leave her classroom, they feel good about themselves and that they have a full understanding of what is or has been taught in her class. Ms.Sellman has been in education for 18 years and if you have ever observed her in her classroom, then you would see just how much she loves her job and how well her students love her. Teaching is not easy, so to do this job, you must love the job, and Ms. Sellman not only loves her job, she enjoys her job. Kudos Ms. Sellman for the amazing work that you do and have done in all your years of education.”

“I cannot thank you enough for your communication on activities/lessons happening in the classroom and weekly updates to discuss with my son to help him prepare for class. You have given my family personal updates on milestones our son has reached that he didn’t tell us about, but allowed us to celebrate him because of the information you provided us. Also, kudos to your dedication to inclusivity for your students by providing weekly emails in Spanish and learning Spanish to communicate with families where English is not their first language. Your efforts do not go unnoticed inside and outside of the classrooms how much you love the children in your classroom.”
