The best teachers teach from the heart, not from the book. Thank you for being a wonderful teacher! The relationships you build with your students truly shape them in the classroom and in the world! Way to be #aacpsawesome!

We are thankful every day that when we drop Claire off at school we know she is going to have a fun day filled with learning and laughter. It puts us at ease that she has a teacher that truly cares about our daughter and looks for all the good in her. Ms. Bayly creates a fun, caring, supportive classroom. We are blown away by Claire’s growth this year and it’s thanks to Ms. Bayly.

Hi Mrs. Wais I know I’m not a student anymore but I wanted to take the time to thank you for all you have done for me. You showed me I can do anything I believe in. You were there for me in the darkest times. Every day of your class made my day. I miss having your class and being able to sing Taylor Swift (since we had such a small class) . As I’m typing this I am in Nashville getting ready for her show. I hope life is going good I miss you!

I am a former student of Ms. Russo by a few years now but I still keep up with how she is doing through Facebook, which is how I came across Thank A Teacher this year. I know her as Mrs. Kenny, she was an amazing English teacher when I was taught by her. Granted I didn’t show up all the time, or give my best effort, she definitely showed me that I could give my best & pushed me to be the best me, not even just in her class but for myself. I will forever remember how inspiring and supportive of a teacher, person, friend, and mom that she is. Not only is she amazing at her work but she is a great teacher. She is always on top of everything & ready to conquer what may face her next. A great role model, I could say as well. I am beyond grateful to have met and been taught by her. She deserves way more than the appreciation she is shown. Thank you so much for all you have done for me and your students, you are amazing.

Dear Tiffany,
I am so glad you joined our team this year! I have truly loved getting to know you better and working with you. I can’t imagine switching teams is easy, but from day one, you have jumped right on board. Your ability to plan and contribute when everything is new, has been phenomenal. I have no idea how you managed all the changes that happened this school year both at school and personally. Your ability to remain calm and always put your students first is amazing. I have never met a teacher who thinks about each individual child and his/her needs more. The attention you give to each student is remarkable. All of those kids are so lucky to have you!
Love,
Corinne

July 12th, 2023|Crofton Thank-A-Grams, Thank-A-Grams|

Dear Hannah,
I am so glad you joined our team! You have been a bright light that we needed and have brought so much to our team. Your ability to stay so organized and on top of things with all of the things you have going on at home, never ceases to amaze me. You have made me a better teacher by showing me innovative ways to do things and making each idea accessible to all of us. I love how you always think about what is best for the kids and what that would like for all of us. Each child who enters your classroom is lucky to have you! You do an amazing job of making all the children feel loved and supported. Coming back from maternity leave and building a relationship with a class you never met can’t be easy, but you made each one of those children feel like you were always there. They are so lucky to have you as a teacher.
Love,
Corinne

Shayne Gifford, Nantucket Elementary

July 12th, 2023|Crofton Thank-A-Grams, Thank-A-Grams|

Dear Shayne,
Our team wouldn’t be what it is without you. You bring happiness to the whole building through your positive attitude, treats in the copy room and silly memes that you hang up. I know that those things brighten everyone’s day. The children in your class are lucky to have you. You work extremely hard to make each child feel like a welcomed member of your community and see the special qualities in each one. There is not a single child that enters your room who doesn’t feel loved and supported. Thank you for everything you do!
Love,
Corinne
