I am an AACPS: Alumni, Meade High School | Community Business Partner
I am an Anne Arundel County native, and I’ve always lived in the Severn area. My Dad was in the Navy and Fort Meade was the last base where he was assigned, just before I was born. I loved going to school on base because we had a good mix of cultures within the school. I have so many fond memories from attending Jessup Elementary and Meade Middle Schools, and graduating from Meade High School in 2002.
My love of baking began as a child, and my love of sweets and art led me to earn a degree in Baking and Pastry Arts from Johnson & Wales University. After several years working as a pastry chef, I decided to pursue my dream of opening my own bakery.
In 2019, Sweet Eden Bakeshop opened its doors! With this bakery, our goal is to create something fun and positive to counteract all the negativity in the world. In addition to serving our customers from Anne Arundel county and beyond, I also enjoy giving back to the community. Recently, it warmed my heart to “give back” to my AACPS community by providing cake pops to my alma mater, Jessup Elementary, for Back to School Night. I want to help everyone in our community to celebrate life, and I strongly believe that there are moments to be thankful for everyday.
Love, Peace and Sweets!
