The Millionaire’s Club, sponsored by the Educational Systems Federal Credit Union, is a competition-based financial literacy skills program for high school students. Throughout the program students are actively engaged in developing entrepreneurial portfolios based on the Stock Market Game (TM) and the Personal Finance Challenge (TM). This newly offered co-curricular program at North County High School required community investment to ensure its success. Educational Systems Federal Credit Union has gone above and beyond an initial call to support student engagement. They have provided financial support to incentivize student participation in addition to volunteering time at the high school to lead students through personal investing and financial literacy activities. Educational Systems FCU’s support of co-curricular programs is an exemplar of community championing for students; their support has been invaluable.
The goal of the 2018-2023 Strategic Plan is to ensure that every student meets or exceeds standards as achievement gaps are eliminated. Partnership with the Educational Systems FCU supports Indicator#14 of the Strategic Plan which is to increase the percentage of students (total and unique) involved annually in clubs, organizations, competitions, or other co-curricular offerings.
