Description: ACS requests applications for the ACS- Hach Professional Development Grant program. The program supports high school chemistry teachers as they identify and pursue opportunities that advance their professional development. The program also helps chemistry teachers to enhance the teaching and learning of chemistry in their classrooms.
Deadline: Applications to open in the fall.
Funds: Grants up to $1,500.
Eligibility: High school chemistry educators teaching in U.S. or U.S. territory schools.
Areas: Funding may be used for the following.
- Conference or workshop registration fees.
- Travel expenses.
- Tuition and educational expenses for new/upcoming courses.
- Books and online instructional resources.
- Substitute teacher pay.
