Robert Cradle is the founder and executive director of Rob’s Barbershop Community Foundation which provides Phoenix Academy in Annapolis with grant funding for a grooming station at the school. When there is a lack of access to grooming services due to homelessness, financial need, transportation barriers, or mobility issues, students’ self-esteem is impacted. Through the partnership with the foundation, students can receive these services free-of-charge. As a result, the faulty of Phoenix Academy observe an increase in school attendance and improved grades. Mr. Cradle assists with all facets of this program and even mentors students and serves as a role model in the school.
