BOARD MEMBERS HOSTING FOURTH OUTREACH EVENT TO ADDRESS CONCERNS, QUESTIONS

Schools are closed and educational issues may be far from the minds of parents and children, but those with questions or concerns about Anne Arundel County Public Schools have a chance to talk directly to Board of Education members next week.

Board members including President Andrew Pruski and Stacy Korbelak will be at the West County Area Library, located at 1325 Annapolis Road in Odenton, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, to talk with anyone interested in school system issues. They also will be promoting the Anne Arundel County Public Library’s Summer Reading Club program. More information on the program can be found on the library system’s website at http://www.aacpl.net/src13/index.html.

This will be the fourth outreach event hosted by the Board. Similar events were held earlier this school year at Arundel Mills and Westfield Annapolis malls, and on Fort Meade.

Questions will be addressed on a first-come, first-served basis.
