Anne Arundel County Public Schools students entering grades 4 through 12 in the fall of 2013 can enroll in AACPS’ Summer Dance Intensive to learn a variety of styles of dance including ballet, modern, and jazz.
Dancers can sign up for one or both four-day sessions, scheduled for July 8-11 and July 15-18 at the Old Mill complex. Intensive hours are 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday through Wednesday of each week, and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on each Thursday. A performance will be held at 7 p.m. each Thursday.
Dancers will have the opportunity to work with choreographers throughout each week, and speakers will address a variety of topics each day during lunch.
The Intensive costs $225 per week for dancers who register before April 1, 2013, and $250 thereafter. Registration forms are available by going to www.aacps.org/dance and clicking on “Summer Intensive.”
