Submitting Your Recommendation
Please use the form below to submit your letter of recommendation by 3:00pm on Wednesday, August 23, 2023.
Your recommendation will be added to your nominee’s George Arlotto Leadership Award nominee application (to be completed by the principal nominee by Wednesday, September 27). You and your nominee will receive automatic emails confirming that your recommendation has been submitted.
Tips for Writing a Strong Recommendation
The Regional Assistant Superintendent’s Recommendation is a critical component of nomination package. When writing your recommendation (500 words maximum), you may want to include:
- Anecdotes demonstrating the principal’s effectiveness in the classroom;
- Testimonials/quotes from students, staff, families, or other community members;
- Evidence of the principal’s impact and commitment to the school community;
- Description of a teacher’s experience in this principal’s school.
You will not be able to save your progress before you submit this form. We strongly recommended writing your recommendation in a Word document and then copying the text into this form.
