Ms. Lavia is an amazing teacher because she takes the time to choreograph dances for us and plans things for us to make us happy. The dance concert came out amazing and everyone loved performing as MMS and she looked amazing❤️

Thank you so much for your passion for teaching! I know this year has been especially challenging with such a large group. Camden comes home with so many fun stories, it is clear that you have created a positive, fun atmosphere where my child has thrived! We appreciate you!

Your dad and I are very proud of the woman and teacher you are. You give your students 110% in everything you do. No one has any idea how much time and money you have personally invested so that all of your students can have what is needed. You are indeed a special young woman and we wanted you to know that we are amazed by all you do.

The best teachers teach from the heart, not from the book. Thank you for being a wonderful teacher! The relationships you build with your students truly shape them in the classroom and in the world! Way to be #aacpsawesome!

Hi Mrs. Wais I know I’m not a student anymore but I wanted to take the time to thank you for all you have done for me. You showed me I can do anything I believe in. You were there for me in the darkest times. Every day of your class made my day. I miss having your class and being able to sing Taylor Swift (since we had such a small class) . As I’m typing this I am in Nashville getting ready for her show. I hope life is going good I miss you!

I am a former student of Ms. Russo by a few years now but I still keep up with how she is doing through Facebook, which is how I came across Thank A Teacher this year. I know her as Mrs. Kenny, she was an amazing English teacher when I was taught by her. Granted I didn’t show up all the time, or give my best effort, she definitely showed me that I could give my best & pushed me to be the best me, not even just in her class but for myself. I will forever remember how inspiring and supportive of a teacher, person, friend, and mom that she is. Not only is she amazing at her work but she is a great teacher. She is always on top of everything & ready to conquer what may face her next. A great role model, I could say as well. I am beyond grateful to have met and been taught by her. She deserves way more than the appreciation she is shown. Thank you so much for all you have done for me and your students, you are amazing.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week Ms Stencil! I want to remind you every day how amazing you are. Your depth of care for the kids, especially my son, consistently goes above and beyond. You go above and beyond to ensure he is included in things even with his food allergies and eczema. One of the things that you do that really makes such a difference is how level headed you are and caring you are toward him and his normal developmental learning opportunities. He feels safe with you. He feels seen and believed and trusted by you. I feel similarly, and every time I get a photo or a note about some great news you or he wants to share with me on a day when you know I won’t see him, it means the world to me. You embody the culture at GBPE and are a true rock star! We appreciate you!
